F***ing with me cuz imma teenager, with a little bit of gold and a pager!-NWA

today was such a horrible day!!! i woke up late and was not able to go to the gym because it was PACKED! then i was on my way to my dentist appt and a guy in a black chevy tahoe was tailgaiting me and at an intersection the light turned yellow and i had to speed up and go through it to avoid being rear ended! and then bam! i see those damn blue and yellow lights in my rear view!! the cop pulled me over for speeding and added 10 mph to my speed because it was raining?!?!?!?! can they do that???!!!???!!! looking back on it i should have slammed on the breaks and let that ass hole send me thru the windshield!! at least the hospital bills would have been covered by insurance!! the ticket is gonna come out of my pockets!!! so the rest of my day was spent listening to f**k the polices by NWA haha... oh well tomorrows another day....this is a great way to start my birthday week :\

Farmers Market SWAG!

so today was a pretty chill day! i went to the library and read some books on urban art;) then walked over to the south pasadena farmers market...let me give you a little back ground before i jump into this story...so or those of you that dont know i LOVE china town you can get anything and everything there! and believe me, i have!!!! haha ok so i went to the south pasadena farmers market and was shocked at the prices!....15 bucks for eggs?!?!! if im gonna pay 15 bucks for eggs jesus better have laid them himself!!!! so any of my friends who have been to china town with mw will tell you that people there know me and a lot of the vendors and i are on a first name basis, so i never pay the asking price there...chinatown is all about persuasion and bargaining, the secret is to take the amount of cash you wanna spend and keep it in a separate pocket!...then when they say "this is 15 dollars" you come back with "damn all i have is eight bucks"....BOOM you just got yourself 15 dollars worth of fireworks for eight bucks!!! haha...so i tried this concept out at the S.P. farmers market...i walked in with 20 dollars and walked outta there with 40 dollars worth of product!!! BOOYAHHH

whoops! sorry i haven't written in a while!!... but i have been woking hard on some new art projects!!!one of them is a take on some subway graffiti and i am also working on a video of my friend alejandro throwing up some graffiti in his room. having some trouble figuring out a song but it'll come to me=)

Graffiti Of East LA

just put together this short video of some east LA graffiti i photographed for a very small art exhibit that i was asked to be in. graffiti is so much fun to photograph and look at up close because you can see all the imperfections and also see that they do not only use spray paint but also use markers brushes stencils and other things. and also the COLORS!!!!!!! soooo many great colors and everything has so much texture and depth.

My Little Sketch Book!

sitting here working on some graphic design on the computer with my partner in crime aka my dog aka bruski asleep next to me...today was a productive day! got a ton of stuff done. got my ticket handled lol and then did some painting and sketching, also made a bunch of 228 stickers!!! then i started working on my next video, it is a video of my friend writing "just paint" in his room on his big ol' wall!!! hoping to have the video done later next week!

        the pictures above are some drawings i did in my little sketch book, i, planning to scan them into the computer and then play with the colors...and maybe turn them into stencils or something=)
